15 Breathtaking Zebra Print Houseplants You Can Grow Today

Perhaps, you’re tired of growing the same houseplants and need a new variety of beautiful plants to enhance your home’s aesthetics or décor. Or you just need plants that thrive luxuriously and are always vibrant. If this is the case, what you need are zebra print houseplants.

Zebra print houseplants are tropical plants grown and loved for their striped, vibrant leaves. And since they are native to tropical environments, they thrive in humid, warm, and shady environments. If you want to grow zebra print houseplants, then you need to stick to some simple rules.

Most preferably, the level of humidity in the room that houses your zebra print houseplants should be somewhere between 60-70 percent. And the temperature should be slightly above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you expose zebra print houseplants to temperatures below 60 degrees Fahrenheit, they can start losing leaves. The outcome is the same if zebra houseplants are exposed to extreme temperatures.

The Flaming Sword – scientific name ‘Vriesea bromeliad’ – is a plant that earned its name from the flower head that looks like a red sword and lasts for several weeks. It is a naturally excellent air purifier and should only be watered every 2-3 weeks.

Allow the soil to dry out completely before you water it again.

The Zebrina – scientific name ‘Alocasia zebrina’ – plant has leaves shaped like an arrow.
